This video is a must see. Penn from the famed duo Penn & Teller tells of a recent experience after a show in which a man gives him a bible. Penn proclaims to be an atheist and his response is quite interesting and his challenge to "Christians" is powerful. Thought you guys would like it if you have not seen it already. I showed it to my church in January and it rocked us big time!Watch it and let me know what you think
Thanks Todd! Great video. It put an appreciation in my heart for all the "good guys" in our churches who are doing it right.
ReplyDeleteUsually, I hear pastors and leaders complain about the one(s) who aren't doing enough. I, too, have been guilty of that. It's all too easy for us to climb into our pulpits and complain to the people at the service about those who didn't come to service. We may see it as a challenge, when they read it as condemnation.
But, today, I'm thinking about all of those people who are making a positive impression on their families, friends, co-workers, fellow class mates, and neighbors. There are so many unsung heroes in the Kingdom who may never preach behind a pulpit in a church; but who fill pulpits on campuses, in break rooms, around dinner tables, and in shopping malls.
Whatsoever is good, today, I'll think on these things. Thanks, Todd, for sowing that positive seed in my thoughts.
WOW!! What else is there to say. WOW!! Our attitude and how we present the Gospel says it all.
ReplyDeleteThank you Todd! This post speaks volumes when it comes to sharing our faith in a genuine manner. Eternity is that important and our love for people must be that important.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys enjoyed it! I know it challenged me to the core!
