Quick Hitters to be Thankful For

What are you truly thankful for? I'm thankful for family, friends, the ridicule that I receive because of the Detroit Lions, and of course, God's SS--sovereignty and salvation.

  1. The more I know Him, the more I am thankful for all I have. In short, my beautiful wife of 14 years, my 2 incredible little girls, my family, my awesome church family, my pcg family and friends, whattaburger (had 2 mention) & so much more! Of course #1 is His Son, no greater gift ever given! Thank you Jesus!

  2. I’m thankful that I don’t have everything I desire, for it gives me something to look forward to.

I’m thankful I don’t know everything, for it gives me the opportunity to learn.

I’m thankful for the difficult times, because it’s during those times that I’ve learned to grow.

I’m thankful for my limitations because they give me strength and character.

I’m thankful for my mistakes because they have taught me valuable lessons.

I realize that it’s easy to be thankful for the good things – but

I’m also thankful for the setbacks I’ve experienced. Those experiences have made my life richer and more fulfilling.

    Grateful,

    Russell

  3. Russell, you are an orator my friend. I love your insights. Todd, I echo your words about family. Wayman, the Lions will go 0-16 and have a number 1 pick. You can be thankful for that.

As for me, I'm thankful for things mentioned and for the opportunity to be alive at this strategic point in history. That God chose me for this time and season is an honor. That I have a wonderful wife of 16 years and 5 beautiful children to share it with makes each day a joy.

Believe it or not I am thankful for the Cardinals. Phoenix football fans would have nothing to talk about if they actually wom something. I am thankful that I get to see how they will blow a golden opportunity this season to shut up the critics.
