Going 2 Convention?

Are you going to the General Convention? If so, what are your expectations?

  1. From the buzz I heard around general headquarters on Monday, Sunday Morning and Tuesday Evening will be on my do-not-skip-this-service list.

  2. Yes sir - I'm looking forward to attending General Convention. I am expecting to witness unity, alignment and direction.

I expect to draw strength from my brothers/sisters in the Lord.

I expect to hear a Word from the Lord that will inspire, encourage & heal.

I expect the constituency of the PCG to move past political agendas and become relationally alligned to the vision of our leader.

I expect our younger pastors/ministers to graciously offer "life giving" solutions/comments during buisness.

I expect our leaders to lead without fear of "the political machines".

I expect to be navigated through the choppy waters of cultural chaos by my leaders.

  3. I expect that the discussion and uncertainty concering the possible relocation of the PCG will unfortunately undermine what could be a truly spiritual atmosphere. I don't know of any other way to go about the process but to begin the discussion, but I think it may negatively impact other aspcts of the convention. I hope I'm wrong

  4. I am expecting movement. I want to see our leader lead with authority, clarity, purpose and passion. I expect some will not like it but it is non-optional in my opinion. I expect Vision to be the center focus and hope it will lead this movement rather than everyones opinion.

    Lead us Leader.
